    Hi,
I’m trying to trace living male decedents of George Tavernier (1855-1929) and Elisa Pratt, and came across your family tree.
George was my GG Uncle and his sister Maria my Great Grandmother. George’s son Frederick William was killed at Fromells, France in WW1. The war graves commission have uncovered a mass grave of solders who died at Fromells and have re-buried the remains in a commemorative cemetery. Having taken DNA samples they are trying to identify the individuals so the graves can be marked accordingly. I have tried to assist them but descending from the female line I am not suitable for DNA matching. I have now been searching for a couple of years to find descendant’s of Frederick’s brothers Sydney and Ernest George and your tree has now given me links to Ernest’s sons Frederick Alfred and Francis (Frank) C. With Frederick Alfred dying in 1999 he is no longer an option but having two sons gives me hope. However it looks like son David Frederick died in 2004 which leaves only John Philip.
If you could please put me in touch with any living Tavener’s who could help in finding a male decendant it would be most appreciated.
    best regards,
    Paul Hing
