This undersized hummingbird (perhaps a baby) was sitting on top of one of Cathy’s feeders after a wind storm. It could barely fly but did eventually move down to the feeding perch. Hummingbirds are very territorial and do not share well. The baby was attacked by another hummingbird and was slipping off the perch before we shooed the attacker away. The next time we saw the baby hummer he had managed to get to the the other feeder. Glad to report we still see the baby regularly and he is doing much better.
