Ethel A McDonald letter

This folder contains two documents. One is a two page letter from Ethel A. McDonald to Ruth Cleora Snider. This letter enclosed the second four page document, labeled here as John Snider.

This second document was prepared by Ethel A McDonald’s father-in-law John Harold Snider. It is an account of the Snider family’s activities. Since this was prepared by John Snider when he was in a hospital in Florida, it was written sometime after he retired; which means he had a very fine memory. The verifiable data is correct or close enough to be reasonable. Given that dates with specific days and months are noted for picayune events such as family visits, I’m betting this is fairly accurate.

  1. I can tell you John Snider’s list of events are accurate as his memory was clear into his 90th year. I use to have a later list of events in his handwritting from 1925 to 1937,
