Minnie L Metcalf was Nina Robert’s domestic. When the elder Demings (Nina & Vernon) moved in with the younger Demings (Charles Sr. & Ruth), Minnie came along. It is apparent that Minnie was more of a companion than an employee. She is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Douglas, MA with the rest of the family.
When Charles Deming Jr. married Eunice Cooley and Cathy Deming was born, there were 4 generations under one roof.
