We were enjoying a cocktail when the mangroves just erupted. This hawk had hit a dove perhaps a dozen feet from us. That was silent but it upset all the other birds in the mangroves. They were calling and flying away, but this hawk just sat there with its kill. He sat there for quite a while before flying away with the dove in his talons. It was dusk so the pics aren’t very clear.
